Enjoy an afternoon of greeting your most beautiful, graceful and powerful self through the cheeky, sensual, and dynamic rhythms of the worlds oldest dance. Let the rhythms of the Middle East bring out the dance in you.

Jennifer Whittemore, who dances under the name Jenan, has been performing as a soloist and troupe member with Amarain for the last three years. Her Arabic name—Jenan—means heart or soul; the quality she consistently brings to her work. She performed with Beledi, a Middle Eastern Dance trio at locations such as Southpaw, Totem Bar, CBGB's, the Lower Eastside Festival, the Slipper Room, the KGB Lounge, New Year's at Empire Dance, Lafayette Grill, Caravan Restaurant, Feast at Kush, Les Babouch es and Caravan. She was a company member of the Dunyana Dance Ensemble where she performed at the New York Public Library, the Looking Glass Theatre, the Brick Easy, and Cafe Figaro before joining Amarain.
